Here is a brief list of what I feel are the must-have applications (apps) for your iPod Touch or iPhone:
1. Installer. This is the application you get when you jailbreak, or unlock your device. From the Installer you can simply browse through collections of programs and downlaod them onto your iPod Touch or iPhone with the tap of your finger.
2. Apple Mail/Google Maps. If you are an iPod Touch user, the first two programs you need to get onto your iPod are Mail and Google Maps. These are quite simple to install using the Installer program, make sure you install the packages in order as described in the Installer App.
3. iSolitare, iBlackJack and iSlots. These three games have proven to be the most fun, in my opinion and can all be easily installed using the Installer App, found under the “Games” category. Also check out the game called “Lights Out”. Continue reading »

iPhone not available in your area? Why not grab an iPod Touch and unlock it instead. That’s right. The iPod Touch can do almost everything the iPhone can, with the exception of voice chat…. but that may change with VOIP (voice over IP).

By doing this, your iPod can now handle your e-mail with the Apple Mail application, play loads of games, use google maps, and much much more.
